Butterfly BOM

Our local Quilt Shop Serendipidy has several BOM she has offered. I choose the Butterfies, loved the colors. The pattern and kit come in the package. I have finished 3, got behind with the holidays. I went there the other day and got the next 4. The patterns are by Debra Gabel who designed and created them and the series is called Butterflies in Flight. I did a combination of hand and machine applique. I need lots of practice doing the applique but I am improving. She has a Quilt sample of the finished quilt in the shop and it is absolutely beautiful. Will keep you posted as I progress

  4. The applique looks okay to me. I read Barb's post about buying Steam A Seam in bulk. It got my curiosity up so I did some research. You can use the Steam a Seam 2 for applique and you don't even have to sew it. I am going to have to try that product real soon!
