ToughWeek
Sorry its taken so long to write about the wedding, but we've had a really bad week. My poor hubby had his brain surgery, chemo and radiation and came through all of it with flying colors. Everyone especially his Doctors were amazed b y his strength and attitude., Then his back startred up again, He has been in excrusating pain all week. Pain starts in lower back and then down the leg. Went to back specialist, had a MRI and x ray. He haS SPINAL STENOSIS, scar tissue from back surgery in the 1990's. deteriating discs etc. He went yesterday for pain management shots and so far it hasn't helped. I'm at a loss what to do next. Please pray for him and that he gets relief.Pain pills don't help either.

ReplyDeleteOh, no...I had hoped the pain shots would work. Maybe Dr. Sunnergren is right and you should press the orthopedic doctor about surgery.
ReplyDeleteLarry and you are on my prayer list. DH had back surgery 3 years ago. I'm so glad the other surgery went well. Take care of yourselves. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteOh....it is so hard to watch someone you love suffer, I sure hope they can come up with some kind of pain relief for your husband.
ReplyDeleteglad the wedding was nice...you and Larry look wonderful in the picture...sorry about his back...Bill's sister is going through the same thing...pain constantly...and she is facing surgery within a couple of weeks...will be thinking of you
