A Lesson Learned

This is my disappearing 9 patch for Halloween. It is from a charm pack by Moda called Spook Tacular. I decided to stipple quilt it, now I haven't done too much of it, but said--give it a go, how bad can I do. Well did I learn a Lesson the hard way. I stippled and I stippled some more, and the runner can almost stand by itself LOL Next time I will remember that LESS IS BEST.

  1. Ha ha. There is a delicate balance between enough and too much! Too much of a good thing can be wonderful OR a disaster - it just depends.

  2. Also....the type of batting used can be a factor on how much quilting will be enough and how much will be TOO much. It looks cute, though!
