Our Lakeside group

Some of you may have seen a blog of Pat Casadei telling about our neighborhood group. A couple of weeks ago she was teaching us paper piecing and she had really nice bird patterns. Now I don't know how you are with learning, but I have to do it more than once to remember how to do it The yellow finch we did in our class and the humming bird I did home. I still have a robin and a woodpecker I want to do. They are fun and the more I do, the easier they become.

  2. You were a good student with the paper-piecing, Kaye! I need to remember to take more pictures when we are together. (Of course, maybe one of you could REMIND me.....as none of YOU take pictures when our group is together either!!! LOL)

  3. Paper piecing is one that you definitely need to repeat several times to learn. I know the next time I do a paper pieced block I will have to "learn all over again"

  4. Keep practicing, Kaye. I tend to forget the rules about paper piecing if I don't do it often enough. Thinking backwards doesn't come easily. ;)
